Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement investigators served a search warrant Tuesday morning, June 8th, at a residence in the Spring Hills Drive area.
The search warrant yielded 1.37 pounds of heroin, as well as over $5,000 in cash and packaging materials. .
33 year old Marquis Akins was arrested and also had outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court from a similar previous 2016 heroin bust, and Assault 4/Domestic Abuse.
There was also a toddler in the home which resulted in a separate charge of Child Neglect.
